We welcome all analyst and candidate members to attend the first Theory Forum of the academic year on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 7:30-9:30pm at SFCP. Michael Levin has generously agreed to present clinical material. Peter Goldberg and Henry Markman will moderate.
The goal of the Theory Forum is to use the clinical material to discuss, as a group, how we conceptualize clinical process, what we attend to in the clinical hour, and to better define our conscious and unconscious models of clinical theory. This year we will attempt to follow the same case over several months so as to provide some continuity for the themes we are tracking. In addition, during subsequent meetings, we will include some brief formal presentations on the topics that emerge from our discussion this time. We are looking forward to the meeting and hope to see you there!
