The Scientific Meetings 2013 - 2014
The Scientific Meeting provides exposure to new and on-going work in psychoanalysis. SFCP members or other prominent psychoanalysts present papers in progress on psychoanalytic theory, clinical work and applied psychoanalysis. All SFCP members, candidates, community members, and mental health professionals are welcome free of charge. The meetings take place on the second Monday of the month.

- Be able to distinguish between subjectivist and objectivist mental orientations in terms of transference.
- Describe what the analyst actually does to facilitate an analytic process.
- Distinguish and elaborate the work of the analyst when the mind is conceived as an objectified structured entity.
- Distinguish and elaborate the work of the analyst when the mind is conceived as a continuing, fluctuating process.

REGISTERED NURSES: The San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 02677, on an hour for hour basis.
