Denise Renye, M.Ed., Psy.D.
Denise has a private psychotherapy practice as a Psychological Assistant to Genie Dvorak, Psy.D. and specializes in treating adults with addictions, eating disorders and patients who have a broad range of sexuality and gender concerns and expression. She also has a consulting business in executive coaching and team development focusing on group process. Denise will be presenting a paper through Division 39 this summer that explores the application of Bion’s concept of negative capability to a consulting case with an engineering firm.
- Participants will assess and compare their understanding of the clinical process from different clinical and theoretical perspectives.
- Participants will gain skill in identifying the transference/counter-transference process.
- Participants will be able to formulate better technical interventions.
The San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
