Romi Mann, Psy.D., has a psychoanalytic psychotherapy practice in San Francisco where he works with adolescents, adults, and couples.  His specialties include LGBTQ identity development, relational struggles, depression, anxiety, and trauma.  He is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Wright Institute, Adjunct Staff at Alliant/CSPP’s Psychological Services Center in Oakland, and the Mental Health Advisor to ReachOut.com, an online community providing information, referral, and peer support to teens and young adults. 

Dr. Mann earned his doctorate degree from the Wright Institute and his dissertation researched parental relationships of gay men who became fathers after coming out.


Course Objectives:

  1. Participants will assess and compare their understanding of the clinical process from different clinical and theoretical perspectives.
  2. Participants will gain skill in identifying the transference/counter-transference process.
  3. Participants will be able to formulate better technical interventions.
