Beatriz de León de Bernardi, PhD
Member and Training Analyst, Uruguayan Psychoanalytic Association; Editorial Board, International Journal of Psychoanalysis; Latin American representative, IPA (2011 – 2015); former professor of literature. She has published on the analyst's contribution to the analytic process, the analytic field, and the idea of vínculo [the link]. Her articles include “Commentary on the Paper ‘The Compulsion to Confess and the Compulsion to Judge in the Analytic Situation’ by Stefano Fajrajzen,” International Journal of Psychoanalysis, (2014); “Field Theory as a Metaphor and Metaphors in the Analytic Field and Process,” Psychoanalytic Inquiry (2013); “The Concepts of Vínculo and Dialectical Spiral: A Bridge between Intra and Intersubjectivity,” Psychoanalytic Quarterly (2011). Dr. Bernardi is in private practice in Montevideo, Uruguay.
