Course Objectives:
Participants will be able to
  1. increase their ability to identify obstacles in the coordination of services of LGBTQ youth.
  2. increase their ability to recognize and work with countertransference responses in their clinical work with LGBTQ youth.
  3. increase their understanding of developmental concerns relevant to the experiences of LGBTQ youth.
  4. learn about models of service coordination which respond to internal struggles of LGBTQ clients.
  5. gain some familiarity about social policy interventions which benefit LGBTQ youth.

Psychologists self-certify the number of hours they have completed on their renewal form (whether online or paper). The San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
