Community Members' Clinical Forum 2008 - 2009

The Community Members' Clinical Forum is a monthly case conference where a SFCP community member presents a case to other community members in a casual conference setting. The format involves a clinical presentation of a case, with process notes, and then a discussion of the material by an analyst with the audience. The discussant's role is to facilitate discussion by helping the group to think analytically about clinical issues that arise in once to twice weekly face-to-face therapy. This is a unique opportunity to build a professional community of peers while discussing clinical material in a safe and comfortable setting. In addition, you will be able to get exposure to the clinical approaches of a number of analysts at SFCP. The forum is free, and community membership is not required. CE is optional and offered at a charge of $20 per San Francisco forum (2.0 units/forum) or $15 per East Bay & South Bay forum (1.5 units/forum).

The forum is now offered in three Bay Area locations: San Francisco, East Bay and Peninsula. See below for more information for each location.

If you are not a current cummnity member of the SFCP you are very welcome to come and check out the forum. If you find that you wish to attend on a more regular basis, we ask that you consider becoming a member.
