Participants will be able to
- describe when and how their own subjectivity is disjunctive to the feelings, memories, and impulses that are stirred up by the patient.
- coassess how one's approach to treatment is determined less by one's theoretical approach and more by the analyst's way of being.
- analyze how their unique reactivity, their way of being, may either work in concert with, or be at odds with the particular role a given patient plays out in treatment.
