Course Objectives:
Participants will be able to
  1. increase their understanding of the effects of unconscious repetition of traumatic dynamics.
  2. enumerate factors which increase resiliency in the face of traumatic events.
  3. increase their understanding of the importance of self reflection in healing parenting relationships affected by incarceration.
  4. gain self knowledge about their own biases in working with incarcerated individuals.
